Short Term Mobility

Short term mobility projects it means youth exchanges, seminars, trainings, study visits, job shadowing - all types of project where you and people from different countries stay together for a period not exceeding 3 weeks to complete a common goal. During this time the young have a chance to learn something new, try new opportunities and what is most important to discover new cultures through non-formal education.

If you're young or a person who works with youth and want to gain new experience - it is exactly for you. You do not have specific experience and the only thing that is expected of participants in this type of project is good spirit and willingness to self-development.

There are some differences between all these types of youth projects.  For example youth exchange in an activity where young people during the short period of time trying to reach a common goal - what could be the preparation of performance for children, but also learn about traditional cooking or give knowledge about the ecology. And during the seminar young people and youth workers to improve their knowledge and train to be successful leaders in their environment.

You can be as well as participant as an organizer of these types of activities. If you, your friends or your organization has a good idea for a youth project, you can request financial support from the European Union. If you want to participate in a project you can do in your country or try this experince somewhere in the world.
